Why is your filtration system separate from your chiller?
By design, we intentionally house our water pump, filtration, and sanitation components in a separate, dedicated filtration cabinet. Our modular design makes these crucial components accessible for service and future upgrades. Separating these components also allows us to use larger/stronger components for superior performance and reliability. Removing these components from the chiller reduces potential failure points, allowing the chiller to perform one simple job: water temperature control. The result is a reliable, robust system built to last for years, not months.
What are the electrical power requirements?
Water Chillers
Our 1.0HP and 1.5HP chillers run on standard 110v. The 1.0HP has a maximum amperage draw of 9A while the 1.5HP has a maximum amperage draw of 11A. Our 2.0HP chiller runs on 220v with a maximum amperage draw of 8.3A. The 2.0HP uses a 6-30R NEMA plug and requires a 2-pole 30A circuit breaker. You can download the spec sheets for our 3 chiller options below.
Filtration Systems
Our Xtreme filtration system has 3 separate plugs: water pump, UV, and Ozone. All 3 plugs are 110v with a maximum combined draw of 3A.Our X-Flow system has 2 separate plugs: water pump and UV. Both plugs are 110v with a maximum combined draw of 3A.Our Inline UV or Inline OZone system has 2 separate plugs: water pump and UV/Ozone. Both plugs are 110v with a maximum combined draw of 3A.For our 1.0HP or 1.5HP chillers paired with any of our 4 filtration systems, we recommend a dedicated 15A circuit. Does it require plumbing?
Our system is designed to be a closed loop that does not require any type of plumbing connection. Simply fill with a garden hose and you're ready to take the plunge!
How easy is it to set up?
Our installation process is about 1 hour, including the time it takes to fill up the tub with water. We have very thorough videos that cover every step of the installation process.
Do you offer financing or accept FSA/HSA payments?
Yes we do. We offer financing through third party companies: Affirm and Shop Pay. Offers and rates depend on the information you provide.

Aside from an extremely well made product, which I will get to, first and foremost, RevX Wellness customer support is among the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The responsiveness of RevX is top notch. Now, back to their plunge setup, it was very straightforward, and took me a couple of hours. Much of this is unpacking the system, as it is shipped to withstand the journey. As for the plunge experience, I have only been plunging for a few weeks, but use it daily. Being able to control the system remotely, has allowed me to make minor adjustments to my temperature, and see just how efficient the RevX plunge system is. I have gone a step further, and added a WiFi enabled wattage meter that allows me to monitor KWH usage, which reflects a cost of around $20 a month in my area. This unit is in my garage, and due to the insulation, and very little added insulation to the tub fittings, there is no signs of sweating. In addition, the efficiency is fantastic, only cycling 6-7 times in a 24 hour period for about twenty or so minutes each cycle. This is at a setting of 43°-50°. I have reprogrammed the set temperature to have a variance of 7°, which 5° is the factory setting. By being able to customize your schedule, one has the ability to find tune their system to their preferences. Although, I would caution, lowering the temperature range any lower than 5° between cycles, as this can cause premature wear and tear on the chiller. This is why I set my system to 7°, which works fine for me. I keep my chiller running on a regular cycle, as it actually takes less energy to keep the tub cool, rather than cooling it for each plunge. If you are curious about the filtration system, I have yet to have to use the fine net skimmer, as the water filtration system leaves my water completely clean, and free of debris with no issues. However, I am very meticulous with making sure that I am clean prior to doing my plunge. If you are on the fence about a specific plunge, or looking to other companies, I urge you to give.RevX a call, as they are more than willing to answer any questions you may have, without a pushy sales pitch. As for me personally, I have found plunging to be my daily drug, as I look forward to it each time I wake up. It is indescribable to explain to someone who has never plunged daily, how daily plunging makes the body, and mind feel. You’ll just have to give it a try. Our cold plunge is inside a room next to our sauna room. To keep the chiller from working too hard, we moved the pump/filter/chiller outside. I built a little protection over the unit. It was a little tricky to reorient the plumbing, but Andrew was very helpful in guiding me through the process. In fact they are always responsive when we’ve had questions. We love our unit and would definitely buy it again. This company is awesome.

From the start, Andrew was upfront in letting me know this upgrade would make a real difference, and he was right. Installation was straightforward, and it came with all new hardware, including 1” piping. The pump is stronger, and the larger filtration housing (still using the 20M Filtron filter) now includes a UV sanitation light. One standout feature is the internal plumbing everything is wrapped in neoprene and Velcroed for insulation. Paired with the larger diameter hoses, the flow improvement is immediately noticeable. You can feel the increased pressure, and it cools the plunge faster while keeping it colder longer. I’ve also noticed improved efficiency, with the system not having to run as long. Another big upgrade is the water pump. It’s noticeably more powerful, pushing water through with much better flow, but at the same time it runs quieter, which makes the overall experience that much better. That balance of power and efficiency really sets the X-Flow system apart. I’ll also add some personal feedback after about 2.5 years of consistent plunging (with a deployment in between). My routine is first thing in the morning, followed by a gym session and then the workday. On weekends, I’ll usually get a second plunge in once in the morning and again a couple hours before bed. CUSTOMER SERVICE is 2nd To NONE!!! I texted these guys on Saturday night (after hours I might add) and they actually responded. 3mins after!! They educated me and walked me through resolving my issue. Which was not a mechanical issue. My ozone was working and I simply needed to turn the lever to a 30° angle. That's it! This thing is simple and SOLID!!
The good: the chilling capability is pretty impressive for the smaller 1hp chiller (albeit pretty stout for a plunge). My plunge went from 69 to 44 in less than 2 hours. The pump is sufficient to circulate as needed as well. Since it’s new to me i can’t comment yet on the Ozone system although i have added a timer to run 1hr every 24 hours. The bad (more disappointment than bad): based on the website i expected to be able to stack the two components, however that is not the case and only applicable to the Xtreme version. Fortunately i had ample space to still utilize correctly. I have four cold plunges (different houses) and thus far I’m super impressed with this system, feeling very commercial like. I have high expectations for long term use.

Incredible product and top notch customer support! I purchased the RevX Wellness Extreme 1.5 hp unit back in May 2025. It has been wonderful. Very reliable and certainly a high quality system. In January 2026, we had an ice storm in Nashville which led to us losing power for 6.5 days. In anticipation of the expected severity of the storm, I reached out for how to properly prep the unit in case of a power failure and subzero temps (the unit is on a covered patio outside). Despite my best efforts the valves attached to the tub and the UV housing were damaged by water that had frozen. Mike and Andrew have both been very supportive and have gone above and beyond with their time and insight to assist. Additionally, Mike and Andrew have been very gracious to provide replacement parts and were detail oriented to assure that the correct replacement parts were provided. The system design was so thoughtful…if any part of the unit has an issue or wears out over its useful life, it can be easily replaced. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the product, support, and experience with the team at RevX and I would, without hesitation, recommend their products to anyone considering a high quality cold plunge unit. Would have liked it if the non-upgraded system also had the metal bracket for stacking and tubes to match, but still a nice system otherwise. Very happy it uses standard filters instead of proprietary ones like many of the other manufacturers. Using mine with an Alaskan cold plunge tub from Redwood Outdoors, works great but had to get extra tubing to make it work since the tub has 2 out spouts for better flow.
This is awesome. I had another lesser brand before and it is night and day different. I had a few things come up with the set up and the support has been awesome. Andrew has been awesome and patient. I highly recommend.
1 year review - This system has been bulletproof outside in the Texas heat for a year. We use the tub regularly and have never had any issues. The water stays crystal clear with minimal maintenance and the chiller has been through heat waves, cold snaps and everything in between without missing a beat. Love my Xtreme barrel. The system is super easy to set up, chills and filters really well, and it’s a small footprint with the stacked cabinet and barrel. We have ours outside, and it’s been totally fine in the rain, heat, wind, whatever. Definitely the most bang for your buck cold plunge from all the research I did. On top of that, the customer service is A+. I actually ordered and received the tub version first and realized it was too big for the space, so I emailed and Andrew (one of the co-founders) texted me and set up an easy exchange for the barrel. I also had a small leak at one of the PVC connections the day I turned it on, and Mike the other co-founder actually came to my house and repaired it himself. These guys back their product and care about their customers. Also found out they’ve donated over 50 cold plunges to firehouses in southern california. We are in our 70s. I built the tank platform and did the plumbing and insulation myself. I used a Tractor Supply water tank. It was a fun project. We usually take a plunge 3 times a week. It helps with my mood and with the aches and pains from arthritis. We keep it between 46 and 50°. I go 5 minutes and my wife does 4. I think the best thing is how much better I sleep after a plunge.

It’s been great! Any hurdles I’ve had have been addressed. The temperature is awesome and it stays cold in Phoenix! I did the 1.5 horsepower and it’s really a workhorse. Today is 110° and the tub stays chill. The added components are awesome too - the drain pump/added filters/steps. I researched a ton - this is the one!
I absolutely love my cold plunge! Living in West Texas, where summer temperatures often exceed 100°F during June, July, and August and even reach the high 90s at 5 a.m. it has been a game changer for me. This cold plunge has truly revitalized my spirits, especially on days when I struggle to find motivation. I use it in the morning and afternoon, (the best pre-workout) and sometimes even take a quick 10-minute plunge during my lunch break at 50°F (I'm still getting used to it). My wife enjoys it just as much! It cooled the water from 80°F to 50°F in under four hours. Plus, the ability to heat up to 104°F is fantastic. I highly recommend it. It’s even better than a morning cup of coffee!

After several weeks of using the RevX system, I can easily say I’m happy with my purchase. I plunged for 115 days straight in the winter, and had been doing research during that time in order to buy a chiller and filter system once the weather warmed up. I chose RevX for a few reasons: design, barrel option, positive reviews, and customer service. As it relates to service, I cannot think of another company in recent memories that has been better. Andrew has been awesome, and the team is available whenever you need them. The system is easy to setup and pretty self explanatory, but just in case you have a question or miss a step in the setup (guilty) the folks at RevX are there for you. As an unbiased, month long customer, I can honestly say I’m happy I chose RevX and would recommend them to anyone looking for that next level plunge experience.
No bullshit review! This system…out of the 15-20 I looked at on the market was hands down…the best. My old cold plunge was a plumbing nightmare every time I had to clean it, drain it and make sure nothing leaked. When I got this, it was straight forward EASY to setup, especially when I went through the videos a few times before it arrived. I did make one slight modification that increased flow from the pump. The hose collapses because of the strong pump so I just replaced it with braided 1” hose and the water moves even better. I never write reviews because most are fake…This company has it going on
I’m very impressed with the unit. While inflatable, the tub is amazingly sturdy. I am 6 foot 3 and fit in easily. The setup was very simple and worked just as it was described. I have the extreme bundle and the water is frigid. I have it set to 42 degrees and seems much colder than when I was plunging in 33 degree water in my old tub. So far running perfectly.
I looked at 50 different systems and each has unique aspects. The Xtreme system was just something I kept coming back to. The filtration, the UV and Ozone was really the top. And the tub I got can fit my big ass and my wife. This system is the best and my review wasn’t paid for.
I purchased this for use in the Chicagoland area where temperatures and humidity can really vary! I set it up in the cooler spring when temps were still in the 40s overnight and have used it so far through 90 degree June days. The temp stays within about 2 degrees of where it is set. I use it daily, sometimes multiple times, as does my husband and even my children on occasion! The system was fairly easy to set up and I did 90% of it on my own. The videos were excellent! I did have one issue with some leaking but customer service was incredible. They emailed, called and ended up video chatting to help me problem solve and then shipped out a new part which I received within days. Once the new part was installed the issue was fixed and it has been working without any problems ever since. The only area I would recommend improving would be the drip tray in between the chiller and filter units. The tray has a push-to-open latch which has gotten stuck on me a few times and is very hard to open when stuck. It's not a big issue at all but a minor annoyance. Overall I absolutely give the system 5 stars, and I give customer service at least 5 stars, maybe more!
There is nothing like a "cold" plunge after getting out of the sauna. And no one does it better than RevX. The system shipped quickly, setup was very easy, they produced YouTube video's with step by step instructions that are very easy to follow. Their "chat" and "phone" support is second to none. Experience has been great. When i set it up i hit some wrong numbers by mistake . I called on a saturday night 8:15 pm and to my suprise someone answered .i thought i would get a recording . The technician walked me through the set up , finding where is changed some settings . Corrections were made and it works fantastic.I went with 1.5 horsepower and its great. I set it up inside and use it daily .Rev x customer service is simply the best!
