WHAT MATERIAL ARE THE INFLATABLES MADE FROM?
Our Barrel and Tubs are made from Drop Stitch technology material. The side walls are made with high grade PVC tarpaulin material. There is a 3" air gap between the PVC layers for great insulation.

HOW STURDY ARE THESE WHEN INFLATED TO THE MAXIMUM OF 8 PSI ?
The RevX Inflatables utilize the same drop-stitch material as inflatable stand up paddle boards and inflatable boats. It is built to support your full body weight on the edges. Most people don’t even realize it is inflatable when using it because it is solid as a rock.
WHAT ARE THE POWER REQUIREMENTS?
Most RevX equipment requires a standard US 110-120v/60hz power. RevX 2.0HP, 3.0HP, and 5.0HP chillers require US 220v/60hz power. For complete RevX bundles we recommend that a 15amp circuit be dedicated as it may trip the circuit breaker if shared with other large appliances such as a refrigerator.
You will need a total of three (3) outlets to power the Inline system, four (4) for the Xtreme system: one for the RevX Chiller, another for the Water Pump, and another for the Sanitation Technology (Ozone Generator or UV Sanitizer - Xtreme has both UV & Ozone so 2 additional plugs are required). The water pump, UV, and Ozone all use a standard 110-120v/60hz outlet.
HOW LOUD IS THE REVX CHILLER?
When the RevX bundle reaches the set temperature, the system is silent. When cooling or heating the water, the fan creates about the same amount of noise as a standard household floor fan. The readings that we have documented range from 45-70 decibels. It is very quiet or silent when in idle mode, which is the majority of the time.
DOES THE CHILLER HAVE WIFI COMPATIBILITY?
We are currently in the process of integrating Wi-Fi into RevX chillers. Initially, we purposely excluded this feature from our system as there are security concerns around the APP that is commonly used with water chillers. These templated APPs are also known to have connection and functionality issues. For these reasons, RevX has spent the time and resources to develop our own APP, which is hosted on AWS USA servers and comes with a Wi-Fi module that is pre-paired to your chiller. Simply connect the module to your Wi-Fi router and enjoy a strong, stable connection.
As of January 2026, RevX 1.5HP, 2.0HP, 3.0HP, and 5.0HP chillers are equipped with Wi-Fi. Our 1HP chillers are not yet equipped with Wi-Fi but we have them arriving in February.
Without using Wi-Fi, RevX Chillers are designed to be connected to power 24/7/365 and with its intelligent software programming, it will automatically manage your water temperature within a 5°F temperature range for best efficiency. This saves you the most money on electricity and preserves the health life of internal components.
HOW MUCH ELECTRICITY DOES THE REVX SYSTEM USE?
Depending on the ambient temperature and electricity cost in your area, you should expect to spend $0.50 - $1 per day on electricity.
HOW FAST CAN THE CHILLER COOL OR HEAT THE WATER?
Cool water from 80°F to 40°F
- RevX 2.0 HP Chiller - as little as 2 hours.*
- RevX 1.5 HP Chiller - as little as 3 hours.*
- RevX 1.0 HP Chiller - as little as 4.5 hours.*
*Please note that ambient temperature, humidity, system insulation, water flow and water amount will affect these numbers.
ARE THE REVX WATER CHILLERS AND FILTRATION CABINETS COMPATIBLE WITH OTHER COLD PLUNGE SYSTEMS?
Yes. RevX Chillers will work with most water containers, provided they are within the water volume limits of each respective chiller (see below).
1.0HP - 130 gallons
1.5HP - 220 gallons
2.0HP - 300 gallons
3.0HP - 450 gallons
5.0HP - 800 gallons
Our Inline & X-Flow filtration systems can be paired with other chillers, however, the water pump in these units can potentially be too strong for many other chillers on the market. Please contact RevX for more information on the compatibility of our filtration systems with other chillers.
Our Xtreme Filtration System cannot be paired with other chillers, as it is specifically designed to be mounted on top of our 1.0HP, 1.5HP, and 2.0HP chillers.
SHOULD I PLACE THE SYSTEM INSIDE OR OUTSIDE?
These can be placed inside and outside. While our RevX Water Chillers and Sanitation Cabinets are weather resistant, we recommend keeping it in a covered or shaded area to maximize the efficiency and longevity of your system.
Be cautious when operating in heavy rain as to maintain a dry plug and socket connection. The GFCI cord will protect the unit from any short circuiting but be sure that the socket is connected to ground. Do not operate RevX products in extreme temperatures such as below freezing while exposed to wind or above 100F in direct sunlight. Our system can run in temperatures below freezing, down to 0°F. If running the system in freezing temps, the following conditions must be met:
- Chiller remains powered on 24/7 (Do not use App scheduling during freezing temperatures)
- Water Pump remains powered on 24/7
- Chiller temperature set no lower than 40°F
- Stable Electrical: power outages will make it impossible to follow 1-3. RevX is not responsible for any damage resulting from a power outage.
Perfect for inside use as well. When indoors, please place it on flooring that is not susceptible to water damage. Our RevX Tubs/Barrels come with a mat to place underneath the water container.
Important: Please do not cover the front or back of the water chiller with anything while it's running as it needs to be able to get airflow so it can cool down, and always have empty space around the chiller. Refer to our user manuals for more information. RevX chillers require a minimum of 12” of clearance on the back and sides, and 24” of clearance in front of the exhaust fan. These requirements are for a standard, open air environment (outdoors or a large room), not inside of an enclosure.
HOW COLD OR HOT DOES THE WATER ACTUALLY GET?
Our powerful chillers can achieve temperatures as low as 34°F and heat up the water to 104˚F*. Your experience could vary based on your ambient air temperature, system insulation and water quality.
HOW MANY LAYERS ARE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TUB?
The bottom is made of a durable three-layer insulation pattern: 2 layers of PVC Vinyl and1 layer .4” foam insulation.
Which Is The Right Product For Me?
I LIKE TO COLD PLUNGE WITH ANOTHER PERSON AT THE SAME TIME, WHAT DO I CHOOSE?
We believe doing uncomfortable things with others builds a stronger bond, connection, and relationship.
You definitely want to go with the RevX Tub Deluxe for maximum leg room and space. This will fit two 6' people comfortably.
WHICH REVX CHILLER SHOULD I PURCHASE, 1.0HP, 1.5HP or 2.0HP?
If you plan on using the chiller in outdoor conditions where the temperature can reach 90ºF+, we highly recommend purchasing the 1.5HP or 2.0HP . The 1.5 HP chiller is specifically designed to handle higher temperatures and maintain optimal performance in such conditions. The 2.0HP is best suited for extremely hot climates. We recommend either the 1.5HP or 2.0HP for commercial settings as well. Please note the 2.0HP requires a 220v plug.
On the other hand, if you intend to set up the chiller in a mild climate (summer temperatures consistently below 90°F) or indoors, the 1.0HP version will be suitable for your needs.
RevX 2.0HP chiller is manufactured for higher water volume containers and for customers who want the best equipment possible.
BASED ON MY HEIGHT, WHICH IS BEST FOR ME?
RevX Barrel - For people 6’4” and under
RevX Tub Classic - For people 6’5” and under
RevX Tub Deluxe - For people 7’2” and under
WHICH SANITATION TECHNOLOGY IS BETTER, UV OR OZONE?
Both UV & Ozone are highly effective, and the difference really comes down to personal preference. UV is a bit more “plug and play”, as you simply connect it to power and allow it to run 24/7. Ozone needs to be managed on a timer to only run 30-60 minutes per 24 hours.
I HAVE MY OWN TUB, WHAT DO I NEED TO PURCHASE TO HAVE A COMPLETE COLD PLUNGE SETUP?
If you are looking to pair the powerful RevX chiller + filtration system with a different tub, we recommend purchasing one of our DIY Bundles. This includes the chiller, filtration system, and tubing kit - everything you need to connect to a different tub. You may need an adapter to attach the valves included in our tubing kit to your tub. Our valves are ½” male NPT threaded, so the holes on the tub need to be ½” female NPT. If they are a different size/spec, an adapter will be required. The RevX team is happy to help you identify the exact type of adapter you will need. We have helped thousands of customers with this, so we are well-versed on the topic!
Maintenance
HOW DOES THE WATER STAY CLEAN?
Our system uses chemical-free sanitation in the form of UV, Ozone, or a combination of both. These sanitation technologies can preserve good water quality for anywhere between 1-3 months. The frequency of water changes will be based on initial water quality, frequency of use (number of users), and hygiene of the users. There are best practices that need to be followed to achieve clean water for a long period of time.
Best practices include:
- Use a hose filter before filling up your water container
- Rinse off before you use your system (don’t go in sweaty - post sauna, exercise, etc.)
- Check water purity weekly by opening your sanitation cabinet and seeing if the water filter is a brown-ish color or has a lot of dirt/hair in it
- If using Inline UV or X-Flow, add ⅓ cup of 12% food grade hydrogen peroxide weekly
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I BE CHANGING THE WATER?
This is completely up to your discretion by looking at the water clarity but will also depend on your hygiene when plunging. Of course, you will still need to change your water filter every 1-2 weeks but that won't stop the water from getting a little murky after several weeks of plunging.
Based on your hygiene routine before plunging:
- You rinse off before plunging - change the water every 6-8 weeks
- You don't rinse off before plunging (e.g., you have hair gel, lotion, makeup, etc. on) - change the water every 2-3 weeks
HOW DO I DRAIN THE SYSTEM TO PUT FRESH NEW WATER IN IT?
The best and easiest way to drain water is to use RevX Cold Plunge Drain Pump.

CAN A REVX SYSTEM BE USED IN A COMMERCIAL SETTING?
Yes, RevX system is equipped with commercial grade components that can handle constant use. If used in a commercial setting, the water maintenance protocol will change and filters will need to be cleaned and changed more regularly. We recommend either our Xtreme Filtration System, or the Lux High-Performance Chiller & Filtration System for commercial applications. We also recommend either 1.5HP or 2.0HP for commercial applications.

HOW IS THE SYSTEM SHIPPED?
Our chillers, filtration systems, tubs, and tubing kits are all packaged in separate boxes. Depending on what you purchase from us, these packages will either ship by UPS or on a pallet by LTL freight. Our complete cold plunge bundles (chiller, filtration system, tub, and tubing kit) will ship on a pallet in most cases. LTL freight shipments will include a delivery appointment and liftgate delivery.
WHAT IF SOMETHING BREAKS OUTSIDE OF MY WARRANTY PERIOD?
One of the big advantages of our system is the ability to service and upgrade the unit over time, as a result of our modular design. Our design makes the water pump, filtration, and sanitation components accessible. RevX offers these replacement parts individually, allowing you to service or upgrade the unit without needing a full replacement. We recommend the extended protection plan for your RevX Chillers, this way you can have a peace of mind for up to 5 years, knowing that your most expensive investment within the system is protected.

WHAT IS COVERED BY WARRANTY?
RevX offers a standard limited one-year warranty (from the date they were purchased) on all supplied products.
We will repair or replace your product should it become defective within one year of the purchase date. Standard manufacturing defects are covered - misuse or wear & tear is not covered. Our support team is on standby to help you through any issues you may have during or after your warranty period.
We offer EXTENDED PROTECTION PLANS for RevX Water Chillers only.
